— Release 5.30.165
New Features
- New Report: Tool Usage. Punch hit counts per tool.
Improvements
- Improved dimensions on the Pattern Flat View.
- Users can change their language and unit settings from the User Profile menu without leaving the page they are on.
- Pathfinder dashboard: uncategorized downtime now shows up in Top Downtime Reasons and the Run Blocks chart. Brief stops are grouped as "Short Stops" — the same bucket XL machines use — and longer unexplained stops appear as "Uncategorized", so all downtime is accounted for. Stops under 6 seconds are still treated as noise and hidden.
- Production Summary Report now shows the total number of tool hits.
- The 3d Pattern visualization now supports rendering patterns without segment references.
- Pattern visualizations (Flat View and 3D) can now be opened directly from a pattern's page with a new Visualize button — pick a machine, tooling code, material, and length, without needing a solution row. Useful for trying tooling/material combinations before an order exists. The same visualization can be launched from an order line's pattern quick-view, prefilled with the order's tooling, material, and length (the machine defaults from the tooling code's machine assignment). The pattern quick-view also now shows each punch's segment.
- Coil Sync: the test result panel has a new Send to AMS Support button. It emails the complete test report and the configuration (with connection credentials removed) directly to AMS Controls support, with a copy to you. The full report of every test run is also written to the Eclipse Server log. The Copy button now also works on sites served over plain HTTP.
Bug Fixes
- The pattern quick-view popup could extend past the edge of the window, cutting off its right-most columns. It now stays within the visible screen.
- Pathfinder dashboard: delay blocks in the Run Blocks chart are now sized relative to the tallest run, so they stay visible when the chart's scale is large. The current part thumbnail no longer overlaps the Top Downtime Reasons panel.
- Pathfinder machines could report wildly inflated Operations and Ops/Hr for a part (hundreds of operations in a few minutes). When status reports arrived out of order around a part change, the machine's lifetime cycle counter was recorded as a single event's count. The counting logic is fixed, implausible counts are now clamped and logged, and existing bad events are repaired automatically at upgrade (affected shift charts are rebuilt). A companion Pathfinder PC update sends status reports in order and fixes a leak that multiplied reported counts after repeated operator logins.
