Changes made for Pathfinder V5 PC's.
What's new The Profile Library has a new Sort By option in the left-hand panel, below the View section:
Name — the order you're used to (default). Recently Used — the profiles you've worked with most recently appear first. How it works Every time a profile is loaded — picked from the Profile Library, or pulled up by scanning/typing a part number in the search — Pathfinder records the date and time it was used. With Recently Used selected, the library always shows your latest work at the top: load a profile, and the next time you open the library it will be first in the list.
Your Sort By choice is remembered, just like the Display size and View settings — it stays selected after closing the library or restarting the machine.
Sorting works together with the existing filters and search: whatever profiles match are simply shown in recently-used order.
What to expect on first use The machine starts with no usage history — Pathfinder wasn't tracking this before. Profiles you haven't opened since the update appear after the recently used ones, newest-created first. History builds automatically as you work. After a normal day of running parts, the list will reflect what you actually use. Copying or editing a profile doesn't affect its position — only using it does. For technicians Ships in the next Pathfinder 5 release. No configuration or parameter changes are needed. On first launch after updating, the local database updates automatically (version 4.13). This happens once, during startup. Usage times are stored per profile on the machine's local database and apply to both local and shared (Edge) profiles. Rolling back to an older Pathfinder after the database has updated is not supported without restoring a database backup, same as any other database-updating release.

The Blank Production screen now shows live machine feedback along the bottom of the window — the same readout you already see on the operations and One Step screens.
What you'll see:
CB — clamping beam position BG — backgauge position LB — bending beam angle Shear — shear/slitter position RA (radius adjust), BG2, and clamp pressure appear only on machines equipped with them Why it matters:
While cutting blanks, you can watch the backgauge move to each cut position and see the shear cycle in real time — no need to close the dialog or walk around the machine to confirm what the axes are doing. The readout stays live during an automatic run, even while the rest of the screen is locked. When you open the dialog, it immediately shows the current positions, not zeros. What hasn't changed: everything else about Blank Production works exactly as before — sheet width, blank width, quantity, remainder selection, and the run button are untouched. The display is read-only; it doesn't add any new controls that move the machine.
