On XL Continuous Press controllers that have Gag outputs, DIP switch 12 enables a mode that allows the press to remain ON while the feeder feeds longer distances than the Max Cont Press Move distance. It does these feeds, "continuous feeds", with the Gags OFF and turns on the Gags ON after reaching the target to complete the operation.

Since no Gags are ON that would modify the part during a continuous feed, the line may be halted and the feed interrupted at any time. Unfortunately there was a bug that was introduced in "SCN 2628 Continuous Press Bugs". Instead of halting right away it would stop the feed, turn on the gags and then finish the move to the target while the press was still on. This has been resolved.
